Footnotes to Reported Facts

Your financial tables may include footnotes (also called line item footnotes). A footnote may qualify the whole table, a line item caption, or a reported fact. Some tables, captions or facts may reference multiple footnotes, while some footnotes may qualify multiple captions or facts. With EDGARxbrl™, all these cases are handled with ease.

  • EDGARxbrl™ creates and links footnotes automatically when financial tables containing them are mapped and captured.
  • Additionally, you may include footnotes by drag-and-drop, copy-and-paste or simply by typing the text into EDGARxbrl™.
